MHS Students Bring Glad Tidings to Sarah Neuman in Mamaroneck

Members of the Mamaroneck High School chapter of Tri-M performed for residents at Sara Neuman nursing home today.

Residents of the nursing home in Mamaroneck tapped their toes and clapped to the beats of the songs being played by the (MHS) chapter of Tri-M, the international music honor society for middle and high-school students.  Members belted out tunes a cappella and played instruments for a standing room only show.

The MHS Tri-M chapter has approximately 55 active members (including apprentices), many of whom are also involved in orchestra and other music-oriented groups at MHS.

“The goal of the group is to promote community service in Larchmont and Mamaroneck, “said Dina Madden, music coordinator for the district and choral teacher at MHS.
