Work continues at the F.E. Bellows Elementary School on the exterior of the building and the fields.
There is also a small amount of interior work being done as well, Rye Neck School District officials said.
Scaffolding covers the front of the building. The field project included the removal of trees and relocation of playground equipment.
As long as weather cooperates, the district said it's not anticipating construction to take place outside the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend work will be scheduled only when absolutely necessary.
