Candidate Debate: Tom Murphy vs Catherine Parker, Hosted by LWV

On September 10, 2013, registered Democrats in Westchester County District 7 will vote in a primary to choose between two candidates Tom Murphy or Catherine Parker for the Westchester County Legislature. The winner in the primary will appear on the Democratic line on ballots for the general election in November.

Westchester County Legislative District 7 includes Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Rye and portions of Harrison and New Rochelle.

To help voters learn more about the primary candidates, on July 31, the non-partisan League of Women Voters of Larchmont-Mamaroneck will moderate a debate between the candidates, who will discuss their qualifications and answer questions posed by the LWV and audience members.

The debate is open to the public and will be held in the Courtroom of the Mamaroneck Town Center. LMC-TV will be broadcasting the event and will also re-air it in the run-up to the primary.
