MAMARONECK SHARES BLOCK PARTY

Mamaroneck Shares is a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting local charities and drawing business to our local merchants.  For the second year in a row, we will be hosting "Mamaroneck Shares Block Parties" which will take place directly on Mamaroneck Avenue in the heart of the Village of Mamaroneck.  The streets are shut down to vehicular traffic, and visitors enjoy the evening strolling from venue to venue, visiting our local businesses and eateries, and enjoying the free music and entertainment that is provided.

The goal of the four evenings is to raise money through a fun assortment of children's games, face painting, dunk tanks and raffle sales, to support four local  charities.  This year we have chosen the following organizations: At Home on the Sound, to provide assistance to aging seniors, Keep aBreast, a local "Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure" organization, Mamaroneck E.M.S., our local volunteer ambulance corp., and Pediatric Cancer Foundation, in support of childhood cancers.  Last year, through these events, we raised $12,000 which was divided equally amongst our recipients.

This year our FUN +FREE block parties will take place on the following dates:
