Mamaroneck Public Library Library Budget Vote and Trustee Election
As a patron, you know the Mamaroneck Public Library is an important and vital community resource. We strive to give you great service in a welcoming, supportive environment. The library is the place where all members of the community can share in the joy of reading and turn to for information, entertainment, computer access and much more.
The Library is proposing a modest 1.9% increase for the 2011-2012 budget over the previous year. For an average household in the village this would amount to about a $15 increase over last year. This budget includes the operating expenses for opening the newly renovated building in the spring as well as debt service on the construction.
As the time to move into the new facility draws near, please consider this friendly reminder about the upcoming election. Please take the time to vote Tuesday to ensure Mamaroneck's bright future!
