LEGO-Fest Raises Money for Larchmont Library [PHOTOS]

Friends of the Larchmont Public Library put the "Fun" in fundraiser.

Children of all ages came to the Village Center at the Larchmont Public Library to view a 300 square foot LEGO display Saturday and help to raise funds for the library at the same time.

Local sponsors joined with the Friends of the Larchmont Public Library to host the event which included a 30-foot-by-10-foot city display built entirely from LEGO pieces including an airport, farm, downtown and a running railroad.

The event also featured "Seek and Find" challenges for kids and raffles with LEGO sets as prizes. The display was built by I LUG NY, an adult club of LEGO fans with members from across the New York Metro area.
