WESTCHESTER CHORALE SPRING CONCERT

 May 8, 2010:  The Westchester Chorale led by Music Director Douglas Kostner, will present its spring concert,  Darius Milhaud's  Service Sacré,  featuring baritone soloist Cantor Erik Contzius and organist  Chris  Creaghan.  Commissioned by a synagogue in the 1940s, Milhaud uses traditional melodies  from  ancient  Jewish rituals in Provence, France to create a beautiful and moving setting of the Hebrew liturgical texts.  Stanley Vann's Behold How Good and Joyful and Salamone Rossi's Adon Olam are also on the program.  Larchmont Avenue Church, 60 Forest Park Avenue, Larchmont, 8:00 PM.   Tickets are $25, $20 seniors, $10 students.  Call 914 725-7507  or visit www.westchesterchorale.org  for more information.
