The Voracious Reader, Neighbor

TEENS & TWEENS CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

In partnership with the outstanding non-profit organization ROOM TO READ, we will be hosting a reading and discussion with award-winning and thought provoking Young Adult author Patricia McCormick. Never Fall Down, her most recent work, tells the story of Arn Chorn-Pond, the courageous survivor of the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. Today, Chorn-Pond works as a human rights activist. Westchester spokespeople from Room to Read will be on hand to discuss their new initiative Students Helping Students. Plus 10% of all purchases this evening will be donated to this organization. Please come and support this wonderful author, this exceptional non-profit, and our independent bookstore so that we may continue to create such events in our community.
