Larchmont Historical Society’s Annual House Tour has become an eagerly anticipated “Rite of Spring.” Please join LHS for a lovely Saturday evening, May 19th, from 4-7 pm, as we celebrate three fantastic Manor homes and unveil the newly restored Engine One, the 1922 American LaFrance fire engine that served Larchmont until 1948. Returning home to Larchmont after a three-year restoration, Engine One gleams in its original colors of white with red trim and red wheels, refurbished engine and radiator panels.
This year’s tour will feature a grand 1880’s Queen Anne, a classic 1920’s waterside Colonial Revival, and the gardens and porch of a turn-of-the-century, waterfront Shingle Style where Engine One will be on display.
