The Larchmont Historical Society, in recognition of March Women in History Month, presents a reading and talk with Deborah Baker, author of "THE CONVERT: A Tale of Exile and Extremism."  This fascinating book, a finalist for the National Book Award and a Publisher’s Weekly Best Book of the Year, is a biography of Larchmont native, Margaret Marcus.  The book explores how a young woman from Larchmont abandons her country and Jewish faith, and chooses to embrace a life of exile in Pakistan, as Maryam Jameelah, a devout Muslim.

Please join us for what will be a thought-provoking afternoon.
