Tuesday Early Garbage Collection Notice from Mamaroneck
Due to anticipated heat, garbage pickup will be 45 minutes earlier than usual on Tuesday, July 16th and the rest of the week during the heat wave.
On Tuesday July 16, 2013 Sanitation crews in Mamaroneck will begin picking up at 6:15am (forty five minutes earlier than usual). This is to avoid heat wave problems for the workers during peak collection hours.
The town supervisors office requests that residents put garbage and recycling out between 6:15am and 6:30am on Tuesday to avoid a skipped collection and prevent having to send crews back for missed pick-ups during the hottest hours of the day.
6:15-6:30am pick up will continue at least through the rest of the week during the heat wave.
