Super Bowl Celebration, Free Yoga and Flu-Related Deaths

Here are a few things you should know for Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

• PepsiCo’s #PEPCITY will visit New York City as part of a free, three-day celebration of Super Bowl XLVIII and its hosts, New York and New Jersey, at Bryant Park in New York City. Designed to serve as a large-scale “thank you gift” to New York, the three-day celebration will transform a section of Bryant Park and offer the public complimentary tastes of unique, artisanal fare that features PepsiCo products while incorporating Broadway, art, sports and culture displays into multi-dimensional presentations of classic city experiences. The experience begins at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Here are more details.

• Excel Martial Arts., 2097 Palmer Ave. in Larchmont is offering a free 45-minute yoga class from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.

• According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will be mostly cloudy becoming gradually sunny. There is a 30 percent chance of snow before 7 a.m. The high will be near 23. At night, it will be mostly clear, with a low around 14.
