After-School Stories, Open Rehearsals and Rain in Forecast

Here is some of what you should know for Tuesday, January 14, 2014.

1. Children in kindergarten and first grade can come to the Mamaroneck Public Library at 4 p.m. Tuesday for a fun-filled program of stories, games and crafts. No sign-up is required. Parents are not required to attend but must be available to pick up at the end of the program. After-School Stories runs for about one hour. Call 914-630-5894 for more information. The library is located at 136 Prospect Ave. in Mamaroneck.

2. The Westchester Chorale is holding open rehearsals at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Larchmont Avenue Church, 60 Forest Park Ave. in Larchmont. Music will include Gabriel Fauré's Requiem and Memorial Service for the Departed by 
Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco for the May 18, 2014 concert. Details can be found here.

3. Tuesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service, calls for a 90 percent chance of rain before 3 p.m. The high will be near 49. Overnight, it will be mostly cloudy with a low around 35.
