Archie Comics, Domestic Violence and Smashburger

1. Nancy Silberkleit, co-CEO of Archie Comics, will be discussing the global environmental message of Drastic with Plastic from Riverdale High at the Mamaroneck Public Library at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The free event is open to all ages, and Archie's Digest will be available for purchase. The library is located at 136 Prospect Ave. in Mamaroneck. 

2. My Sister's Place Youth Leadership Team is hosting a free event at 7 p.m. Tuesday for students and parents of Westchester County to discuss young men's role in preventing domestic violence. 3. The forecast for Tuesday from the National Weather Service calls for sunny skies with a high near 68. The wind will be out of the north 7 to 11 mph. Tuesday night, it will be mostly clear with a low around 51. Winds will be from the northeast around 10 mph.
