408-656-1519 I've loved journalism and Santa Cruz for as long as I can remember. A New York native schooled in Berkeley, my first stop on the West Coast was the smaller city on the bay–the Monterey Bay–and it was love at first sight. I learned about what it means to cover a community here and to be part of a running dialogue doing a news talk radio show. My perfect life would be sitting on Pacific Avenue and talking to every person who walks by and discovering their story. And, that's my job, basically. What could be better?
