Larchmont Farmers’ Market Continues to Delight

Larchmont Farmers' Market continues to offer fine fresh foods for the community in the second week of the season.

The Larchmont Farmers' Market was held for the second time this year yesterday, after opening for the season last Saturday. More than 20 vendors, some local and some from as far away as Cooperstown, came to the market to sell their fresh goods at the Larchmont train station parking lot. Several popular returning vendors were there, including Dr. Pickle of Wayne, NJ, and Flourish Baking Company of Scarsdale, both of whom were also at the Mamaroneck Winter Market. The market, however, did have quite a bit beyond the standard fare, offering several meat, cheese, dairy and baked goods vendors, each of which brought something interesting and unique to the market. Mamaroneck Indoor Farmers’ Market Opens for Second Year

The winter market is now open at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

Mamaroneck  residents won't have to wait until summer to go to the farmers' market. The Mamaroneck Indoor Farmers' Market opened for its second season on Saturday.  The market, which is located at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church on 268 W. Boston Post Road, will operate every Saturday until May 22, running from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but is closed on Feb. 27th. The farmers' market is a joint effort by the Mamaroneck Board of Trustees, the Mamaroneck Committee for the Environment, and Community Markets, the organization that runs most of the local farmers' markets in Westchester. After the success of the market's first season last winter, all three groups are hoping to raise turnout by bringing in more vendors and holding the market weekly …
