Its current…More structure was completed in 1923, but the department was not officially incorporated until 13 years later. </p> <p>The department covers an area of 5.17 square miles and provides several services, including response to fire calls, such as automatic alarms, suspicious/burning odors, gas leaks; auto accidents that require victim extrication; EMS calls; downed power lines; public assistance calls, like flooding, homeowner locked out of the house, child locked in.</p> <p>The department's apparatus consists of two engines, one ladder truck, two rescue trucks and one fire boat. </p>

In 1952, the Church was built and the school opened to kindergarten, first, second and third grades. Six years later, grades fourth through eighth were added. </p> <p>In addition to the core curriculum, the school offers an after school program featuring fine arts, music and sports. </p>
