Some of the supported causes include affordable housing, disaster relief, micro-enterprise, sustainable agriculture, health care and HIV/AIDS. </p> <p>The foundation was started out of Larchmont resident Loren Finnell's basement in 1987 and has since opened offices in New York City. Several board members reside in Larchmont and attend the Foundation's yearly meeting at the Larchmont Yacht Club in June. </p> <p>The Foundation has a small Larchmont office, but an appointment is required. All mail should be sent to P.O. Box 3006 at the Larchmont Post Office. </p>
