The Larchmont Avenue Church has a congregation of 772. It provides intergenerational programs (53 percent of its…More members are under the age of 50 and nearly 20 percent are over the age of 70), such as a weekly fellowship hour, Laity Sunday, youth Sunday, Advent and Lenten workshops, an annual block party and missions to Nicaragua.  </p> <p>In addition to Sunday service, the church also offers an adult education hour and a Sunday school of 163 students and 30 volunteer teachers.<br /><br />The music ministry has four choirs, including two Sunday school choirs, and a recently installed pipe organ. <br /><br />The church is home to a non-sectarian community nursery school of about 120 preschoolers.  It also hosts  gatherings for other organizations, such as the Midnight Run, Alcoholics Anonymous and the Women’s Club of Larchmont.</p> <p>Rev. Dr. William P. Crawford has been the Senior Pastor/Head of Staff at the Larchmont Avenue Church since 1999.  He is a Philadelphia native and holds several master's degrees and a doctorate degree in ministry. <br /><br />Prior to his ministry in Larchmont, Rev. Crawford served as pastor on Long Island.  He has also been a Larchmont-Mamaroneck recreation league basketball and girls’ softball coach. </p>
