The Village of Larchmont Fire Department is located on the left side of Village Hall. It was incorporated in…More 1891 and serves a community of about 6,700 residents. The Department's apparatus consists of a chief's vehicle, a support vehicle, two engines, one tower ladder and a rescue. Currently, the Fire Department's chief is Richard Heine. </p> <p>Every year, the department's members participate in community-related activities, such as running and biking races, the Rag-a-muffin parade, toy drives, Santa's arrival, and fire safety and fire prevention weeks.</p> <p>Because it is staffed by both career firefighters and members of the community who donate their time to a good cause, the Fire Department always welcomes volunteers. </p> <p>If you are interested in joining, or have any non-emergency questions, call 834-0016. <b>For emergencies, dial 911.</b></p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
