Westchester Hebrew High School is located on 27 acres adjacent to the Long Island Sound in Mamaroneck. It was founded in 1972, but back then it served 9th grade only and was located at the Lincoln Park Jewish Center in Yonkers.
Some of the school's special features are Advanced Placement classes offered in the sophomore year; an after school elective in forensics; portfolio assistance from an artist-in-residence; transportation and food for students living outside of the immediate area; a lunch program available Monday through Thursday; and a two-year program available to students with limited Jewish education or Hebrew skills.
