Mamaroneck Emergency Medical Services

<p>Founded in 1973 and established at this site in 1978, Mamaroneck Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) is a volunteer ambulance corps that provides emergency care for the Village of Mamaroneck. MEMS responds to more than a thousand calls annually and is available 24-hours a day. <br /><br />Each ambulance crew consists of a paramedic, an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), an ambulance driver and an attendant. Members, who volunteer a minimum of one shift per week, must attend regular training sessions to stay on top of life-saving techniques. Using paramedics provided by the Town of Mamaroneck Ambulance District, MEMS offers Advanced Life Support (ALS).</p> <p>MEMS is always looking to train new recruits.
