Founded in 1639, the Blessed Sacrament Monastery is home to the Order known as the Religious of the Blessed Sacrament and of Our Lady. They are also referred to as the Sacramentine Nuns.

The nuns at Blessed Sacrament focus on Eucharistic worship. Potential female candidates in the monastery should be certain they are prepared to commit to a life devoted to Jesus Christ and His Holy Mother. They should also have a high school education or its equivalent.

Potential nuns must go through a period of inquiry, followed by a period of live-in experience. The rest of their studies include postulancy for one year, noviceship for two years and temporary profession of the vows for three years before the candidate takes Final Perpetual Vows.
