American Legion Post 90

<p>Chartered in 1919 by the United States Congress, the American Legion is the country's largest veterans' service organization, with more than 2.5 million members.</p> <p>The Mamaroneck chapter, Post 90,  was established in 1946, and is located directly across from the Veteran's Memorial Hospital and the Village of Mamaroneck Municipal Building.</p> <p>In addition to supporting local scout troops and little league teams, as well as many other charitable organizations, Post 90 is getting ready to present $8,000 in college scholarships to the winners of an essay-writing contest at Mamaroneck High School and Rye Neck High School.</p> <p>Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. </p> <p>The facility, located in an historic former Methodist Church, is also availble for rent for private parties for up to 80 people.</p> <p> </p>
