Don't Miss: Marshland Conservancy's Annual Art Show

Celebrate the beauty of the wildlife sanctuary through the eyes of artists who love it.

We got an invitation on Facebook from the Friends of the Marshlands Conservancy for the opening reception of its annual art exhibit, 2-5 p.m. Feb. 9:

Marshlands Conservancy is holding its 41st annual art exhibit at the Visitor’s Center, beginning February 9th, and will remain open through the end of March on weekends and holidays. This is an opportunity for the public to submit artwork (excluding photography) and participate in a show that celebrates the beauty of Our wildlife sanctuary.

Artwork must be inspired by Marshlands Conservancy and must be framed and wired for hanging. Maximum of three pieces per person. Refreshments will be served at the reception opening, which is cosponsored by the Friends of Marshlands.

The conservancy is located in Rye, NY off of Route 1, just past the Rye Golf Club. For more information, please contact the conservancy at 914-935-4466.
