Hitting the Green to Support the Wearin' of the Green
Sound Shore already gearing up for next St. Paddy's Day Parade in Mamaroneck.
It might be more than five months away, but the Sound Shore St. Patrick's Day Parade committee and friends are already gearing up for the 2013 Sound Shore St. Patrick's Day Parade in Mamaroneck. Last month, the committee and its supporters celebrated a day of sun, golf and Irishness at the Westchester Hills Country Club. All funds raised in the event raised will go to support the parade, which will be held Saturday, March 19, 2013.
Jim Hynes, prominent Irish-American businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist, will serve as this year's Grand Marshall. The parade will feature pipe and drum bands, Irish dancers, local school marchers, firefighters, police officers and various members of the Sound Shore Irish-American Community.
