Mamaroneck School System Launches Questionnaire to Learn Community Involvement

The district plans to collect responses to the survey through June 20.

In an effort to gauge community engagement and learn what topics interest parents/residents, the Mamaroneck school district has launched a survey to gather information.

The survey, which officials say will take 10 minutes or less to complete, asks such questions as are residents given enough information about the annual budget, what district activities have the respondent attended in the past year, and how does the respondent learn news about the district?

The district plans to collect responses for a week until June 20.

Below is the text of the note sent out to residents about the survey.

Dear Community Members:

As part of our ongoing efforts to actively engage community members in the life of our schools, we ask that you complete the following brief questionnaire to the best of your ability.  The questionnaire is broken down into three main areas: Participation in Activities, Communications, and Budget/Voting.
