Chinese Students Visit Mamaroneck High School

The students will be staying for a week.


A group of 24 Chinese students and their two teachers are visiting Mamaroneck High School this week.

The students arrived at the high school Friday and will be leaving Thursday.

They are from the high school's sister school in Shanghai and were greeted by a group of Mamaroneck students and the Force—the school's 15-member drum band and cheerleaders.

After arriving, the students went inside and were welcomed by Principal Elizabeth Clain and Student Government President Margo McClave. The Chinese students were given MHS commemorative T-shirts from the host students are went to spend the weekend with them and their families.

This week, the Chinese visitors will follow host students' schedules and attend practices, rehearsals and after-school activities. They will be visiting West Point as well.
