Wall Street Journal Likes This Gem on the Larchmont Border

Today's "House of the Day" in the Wall Street Journal is a home now for rent on the Larchmont-New Rochelle border.

Designed by prominent architect Edward Durell Stone, the beautiful house is tucked into the landscape it celebrates. The captions in the WSJ's photo feature tell the story of the architect, the building and the Hoffman family.

The photos taken by Rayon Richards for the WSJ even make the snow look good. It's easy to see why the owners aren't selling.

"The property was listed with Katherine Becker McLoughlin of Houlihan Lawrence for $8,200 a month in late January this year," wrote Jackie Bischof in the WSJ feature.
