Westchester County Executive Astorino Sworn In on New Year's Day

A swearing in ceremony was held for Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino earlier today.

Astorino, who is entering his second term,  was sworn in  by Judge Robert A. Neary during  ceremony in his office on the 9th floor of the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains.

Following the ceremony, Astorino hosted a New Year’s Day open house reception for hundreds of Westchester residents in his office. The open house, which was open to the public, was sponsored by Friends of Rob Astorino.

“I represent every part of this county and every person in this county,” Astorino said in a statement.  “Everything we do every day when we come to work here is to better this county, to make it easier for people to live here and raise their family here, and for businesses to open up and to flourish. So that’s what we will continue to do every day.”
