Weaver Street Bridge Reopened

The bridge over I-95 has been closed since June.

The Village of Larchmont sent out an email that said the Weaver Street Bridge reopened at 5 p.m Friday.

The bridge over I-95—located on Weaver Street and Harmon Drive—was closed for repairs by the NY State Department of Transportation (DOT) in early June.

The village said the parapet walls, sidewalks and road surface were poured and have been cured. Pedestrians will be allowed to use only one side of the bridge until this week because the DOT will need an additional few days to complete the fencing on the south side of the bridge.

Other work will have to be completed but will not prevent the use of the bridge by pedestrians and vehicles.

Harmon Drive will remain closed through part of this week to permit storage of construction equipment and supplies.
