Village of Mamaroneck's Mayor and Trustee Seek Re-Election

Rosenblum & Santoro endorsed by Republican, Independence and Conservative parties.

Mayor Norman Rosenblum and Deputy Mayor Louis Santoro have launched their official re-election campaigns for this year's Nov. 5 election. The pair, who were last re-elected in 2011, are both lifelong residents of the village.

Rosenblum said in a statement released on Tuesday that both incumbents continue to support flood mitigation and community programs as well as minimizing tax increases on homeowners.

Rosenblum credited volunteers with improving the quality of life in the village, and in the statement, singled out Harbor Island Conservancy’s continued improvement of Harbor Island Park; Katherine and Jim Desmond and Sara Evans for their efforts on the new Marine Education Center; and The Circle of Peace program.

Rosenblum and Santoro will also focus on a transit oriented development study, review for increased parking and parking structures, and long-term capital investment and infrastructure programs.
