Water Employees or Imposters? Water Company Warns Mamaroneck and Harrison Residents

Reports of two people pretending to be water company employees have surfaced in Mamaroneck and Harrison.

 

Be wary of people claiming to be Westchester Joint Water Works' (WJWW) employees.

WJWW, in a release sent out to the media, said there have been two reports in the Village of Mamaroneck and the Town of Harrison of two individuals impersonating WJWW employees in a ruse designed to gain access to people's homes.

All WJWW employees are required to carry photo ID that can be produced upon request.

Anyone doubting the authenticty of an individual's claim, can contact the WJWW directly at (914) 698-3500 or call the local police department.
