Written by Morgan Searles

One woman took it upon herself to defend beachgoers' privacy, after she noticed a man piloting a remote-controlled camera-carrying drone.

Andrea Mears, 23, believed the pilot was taking pictures of women on the public beach. She called the police but then attacked the drone pilot before authorities arrived. The drone pilot videoed the incident with his cell phone.

Mears was arrested on suspicion of assault and disturbing the peace, according to PIX11. The beat-down took place May 12 at Hammonassett State Park in Madison, Conn. but the video was posted Sunday on LiveLeak.
