Two Dead in Saturday Hutchinson Parkway Crash

The victims of the deadly crash were from Larchmont and White Plains.

Two men were killed Saturday in a horrific automobile crash on the Hutchinson River Parkway in the Bronx.

Livery driver Ata Noorzi, 51, and his fare, Patrick Sheehan, 54, of Larchmont were killed when a White Plains woman driving an SUV skidded across three lanes, slammed into the median and crashed directly into Noorzi's cab, according to the Daily News.

The newspaper reported that the cab's roof was torn off, killing both men inside.

The SUV driver—John Osorio, 45, of White Plains—was interviewed by police and given a breathalyzer test, according to the New York Post. He was released with being charged, while police continue to investigate how he lost control of this car.

Osorio was not seriously injured, the Post said, adding a third driver—Denise Garvey, 49, of Putnam—was also hurt in the crash. She and her son were being treated at Jacobi Hospital.

The Daily News said Sheehan had three sons. Noorzi had two sons and two daughters.

Sheehan's family said calling hours for Patrick Sheehan will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 4 Fountain Sq. in Larchmont. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 14 at St. John's Episcopal Church.
