Report: Grow Pot in Mamaroneck, Go to Jail

Elefterios "Teddy" Kehagias struck a plea deal with prosecutors in 2013.

A 30-year-old Bronx man, who was busted for running a marijuana growing facility in Mamaroneck, is expected to head to prison in September, according to a report in The Journal News

Reporter Greg Shillinglaw writes that Elefterios "Teddy" Kehagias is scheduled to begin a nine-month sentence in the fall, one of two men heading to jail in connection with the scheme.

Kehagias set up shop in a house on Baldwin Place where he grew the marijuana. At the time of his arrest in December of 2012, police seized more than 30 pot plants and equipment to grow it, according to the report.
