A 39-year-old Mamaroneck man, Abel Eduardo Perez, has been charged with first degree rape, a felony, for victimizing a 16-year-old female.
The victim reported the crime within the last month, said Village of Mamaroneck Police Spokesperson Det. Sandra DiRuzza, and police conducted an investigation culminating in the arrest.
Perez was arraigned on 6/28/12 in Village of Mamaroneck court and is currently in Westchester County Jail on $250K bail.
No further information has been released on the case.
