Update: The abuse is alleged to have occurred between July 2003 and Dec. 2005.
A Mamaroneck man was arrested Saturday and charged with course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree, a felony.
Although the abuse was alleged to have taken place in the Village of Mamaroneck (VOM), the Town of Mamaroneck (TOM) Police arrested Anthony Ballone, 42, after the Westchester County Special Prosecuters' Office warned them of a potential conflict and requested that they handle it, said Lt. Robert Koziak, a spokesperson for the TOM police department.
Ballone is currently being held at Westchester County Jail in Valhalla in lieu of $100K cash bail or $250K bond. He is due back in VOM court on Thursday.
