Saturday, Dec. 17
1:22 a.m. – A 41-year-old village man driving a 2004 BMW was stopped in front of 1053 W. Boston Post Rd. near for a traffic infraction. He was later arrested and charged with DWI after an investigation.
3:02 a.m. – A 21-year-old Norwalk, Connecticut man driving a 1999 Honda was pulled over for a traffic infraction on 1160 W. Boston Post Rd. He was later charged with a DWI after further investigation.
2:48 p.m. – A thwarted smash-up between two drivers on the 1200 block of West Boston Post Road led to a heated exchange of words and, briefly, fists. No charges were filed over the road rage incident.
10:22 p.m. - After being rear-ended by an unknown vehicle on the 100 block of West Boston Post Road, a 15-year-old passenger in the car complained of chin pain. She refused medical attention.
Sunday, Dec. 18
12:59 a.m. – A 28-year-old village man driving a 2003 Honda was charged with DWI after being stopped for a traffic violation.
7:22 p.m. – An unfortunate bulldog was struck and killed on Stanley Avenue by a hit and run driver.
11:58 p.m. – A complaint regarding a rambunctious crowd of revelers on Gertrude Avenue was corrected by police.
Monday, Dec. 19
8:05 a.m. – A Fenimore Road resident reported approximately $100 of unknown charges to their bank account.
6:54 p.m. – The driver of a 2005 Honda was rear ended by an unknown black vehicle that fled the scene quickly thereafter in front of 805 Mamaroneck Ave., near . The driver of the Honda—a 42-year-old Town of Mamaroneck woman—was taken to the hospital for treatment of neck and back pain.
10:09 p.m. – An officer on patrol was flagged down by a frantic Mamaroneck Avenue resident who claimed she was locked out of her apartment and didn’t have the key. The woman declined the offer of a locksmith and, instead, stayed with family members.
