Two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle near the Larchmont Temple on Larchmont Avenue last night, according to a breaking news service.
The Larchmont Police Department has not confirmed the incident, but friends of the victims said they were struck while crossing Larchmont Avenue at Willow Avenue in the dark and rain. The driver stopped, they said, but there is no further information at this time. The mother and daughter, both adults living in the Town of Mamaroneck, were conscious when taken to Sound Shore Medical Center and were released today. Both are "terribly bruised," one friend said, but are otherwise well.
