The cause of an 86-year-old Mamaroneck woman's death on Sunday morning still remains a mystery, with autopsy results failing to pinpoint a definitive reason, said Village of Mamaroneck Police in a statement.
The woman—who remains unidentified—was found dead in her home on 117 New St. at approximately 11:20 a.m. Media reports indicated the presence of the Westchester County Crime Scene unit, who appeared to be collecting evidence from her home. The area was also cordoned off with police tape Sunday evening.
"The death does not appear to be suspicious at this time pending further analysis," said the statement from police.
