A Mamaroneck man is facing several charges, including driving while intoxicated, after Scarsdale Police arrested him on Mamaroneck Road on Oct. 7.
According to the police report, Nelson R. Deleon-Lopez, 39, was arrested at about 4:45 a.m. and is facing charges of moving unsafely from the lane; driving to the left of pavement markings; aggravated DWI, .18 grams or more of alcohol in the blood; driving while intoxciated; and refusal to take a breath test.
Lopez failed a field sobriety test, according to the police report. He told police that he had "had been drinking beer at Veracruz on East Post Road in White Plains."
He was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Scarsdale Village Court today (Oct.10) at 9:00 a.m.
