Fire Leaves Larchmont Home 'Uninhabitable'

No injuries were reported.

A fire broke out at a home located at 126 Beach Avenue in Larchmont shortly before 6:30 a.m. Sunday and all units from Larchmont responded with mutual aid from the City of New Rochelle, Town of Mamaroneck and Village of Pelham, according to the Larchmont Fire Department. The fire was declared under control by 7 a.m.

According to a fire department official, the home is uninhabitable and needs repair. Officials were unable to confirm if there were occupants present at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

No further information is available at this time. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
