Child Luring Incident in Mam'k Unfounded

The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department, upon further investigation, found that a child luring incident had not taken place.

The Village of Mamaroneck Police have rescinded an alert sent out earlier today about an attempted child luring incident at the French American School in Mamaroneck.

Police originally said that an unknown Asian man between 35-40, had knocked on the door of the school at 5 p.m. yesterday asking to be let in.  When an 11-year-old girl answered the door, she claimed that the man asked her to go home with him and left after she refused.
