Village of Mamaroneck Police are investigating the death of an 86-year-old woman at her New Street home, according to a statement sent out this morning.
The woman—whose identity has not been released—was found deceased yesterday morning at approximately 11:20 a.m.
According to a News 12 report, the Westchester County Crime Scene unit was in front of the woman's home on 117 New St., across from the A & P, and were taking out what appeared to be bags of evidence.
An autopsy will be completed today to determine the cause of death.
