A devious individual acting alone or with accomplices, snuck into an apartment complex on West Avenue in Larchmont on Oct. 12 and made out with stolen property totaling approximately $3,600 from three different residences.
A total of four apartments were reportedly entered last Wednesday according to Larchmont police. One apartment was entered and ransacked, but no property was reported stolen. Three other residents reported missing property valued at $1,500, $1,200 and $900.
It is unknown who the burglar was or how he or she gained access to the building.
According to an anonymous tipster, the burglar went from unit to unit in the building knocking on doors to see who was home before breaking into specific apartments.
