It's so much fun to watch the votes roll in from our annual survey of the Top 20 Places to Take Kids in the Westchester area

In the following categories, here is who is currently in first place. Remember, voting ends June 21, and anything can happen, so VOTE NOW! It takes only 2 minutes and is a great way to see dozens and dozens of places to take kids, all in one place... which means it's a great way to plan your summer!

 
Favorite indoor play center so far:LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is currently in first place, although this rank changes frequently. Close behind is Bounce U, then WeeZee World, Sportime USA, Jumpin' Jeepers, Grand Prix New York, and The Little Gym of Scarsdale.

Favorite place to have fun outside: Playland Amusement Park in Rye holds the lead, followed by Bear Mountain State Park, Quassy Amusement Park in CT, Croton Point Park, and Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park.

Favorite kid-friendly museum: Museum of Natural History - NYC is in first place, then Bear Mountain State Park Trailside Museum & Zoo, Hudson River Museum & Andrus Planetarium, the Katonah Museum of Art and Hudson Highlands Museum.

Favorite nature center: Greenburgh Nature Center is currently in first, then Teatown Lake Reservation, Rye Nature Center, Rockefeller State Park Preserve, Wave Hill, Hudson Highlands Nature Museum, and the Wolf Conservation Center.

Favorite farm: Muscoot Farm has a 40-vote lead, Stone Barns Center, Hilltop Hanover Farm, Harvest Moon Farm and Orchards, Stuart's Farm, and Outhouse Orchards.

Favorite professional sports team: New York Yankees have the lead, then the New York Mets, Hudson Valley Renegades, New York Rangers, New York Giants, and Rockland Boulders.

Favorite performing arts venue: Tarrytown Music Hall are in the lead. Westchester Broadway Theatre follows, then Emelin Theatre, White Plains Performing Arts, Yorktown Stage, The Play Group Theatre, and Random Farms Kids' Theater.

Sports Education: The YMCA has the lead, then Westchester Skating Academy, The Little Gym, House of Sports, Sportime, and Club Fit.

Arts Education: KidzArt is currently in first place, then Broadway Training Center of Westchester, Hudson Valley Contemporary Center for Arts (HVCCA), Clay Art Center, Academy of Dance Arts, Curious-on-Hudson, and ArtsWestchester
