"Party on the Pond" Raises $50,000 for Sheldrake Environmental Center

Sheldrake Environmental Center Executive Director, Holly Moskow announced in a release that the first-ever "Party on the Pond" gala fundraiser held earlier this month raised funds to support the center's operations, maintain and map trails, provide nature camp scholarships and develop community programs. Over $50,000 was raised.

Held on the shoreline of the Larchmont Reservoir,  James G. Johnson, Jr. Conservancy, over 200 people attended the event despite a day of drizzle. According to Moskow, guests were sent home with a printed version of the center's new map, which is also available on the center's website
