Local poets and writers in their own voices

The Friends of the Larchmont Public Library inaugurates its 2011-12 Sunday Speakers series on September 18th in the Garden Room at Larchmont Temple (24 Willow Ave.). The initial program will feature readings by local poets and writers whose works were selected for publication in The Westchester Review. Published annually, the magazine celebrates both established and emerging authors who have lived, studied or worked in Westchester County. Writers scheduled to read include Angela Taylor, Joe Landau, Blythe Hamer, Luann Jacobs and Tracy Williamson. The program begins at 4:00, with complimentary wine and snacks served at 3:30.
