Community Corner

LMC-TV Annual Award Night 2012

Larchmont Mamaroneck Community Television honors and celebrates exceptional programming produced for the station. It also honors notable community members who have contributed to LMC-TV. This year, Dr. Valerie Feit, enrichment coordinator for Rye Neck High School, will receive the top award.
The event will be dedicated to the memory of longtime LMC-TV producer and musician, Bruce McNichols who recently passed away this year. Bruce, often with his band partner, Henry Newberger, produced 100 episodes of the band's show, "Still Trying", and  over 800 episodes of its predecessor, "It'll Get Better."  Henry Newberger will be hosting the show and providing its musical entertainment.
Over 20 programs are nominated this year and the winners will be announced at the event.
Award Night will take place on Thursday May 31st, 7pm at the Emelin Theater in Mamaroneck.
A reception will follow at LMC-TV Studio 2, 145 Library Lane, next door to the Emelin Theater.
The event is free and open to the public.
